The Jeff Peterson Xeriscape Garden is dedicated the memory of City Councilor Jeff Peterson for his support of conserving the community's resources. This public garden features over 100 different kinds of bulbs, grasses, ground covers, perennials shrubs and trees.
Amenities of North Lake Park include two playground areas, lake fishing, baseball fields as well as horseshoe, tennis and basketball courts. Each of the four available on-site picnic shelters feature two small grills and six electrical outlets. The Norma and Lynn Hammond Amphitheater and Miniature Train are also available.
